Hattie's combines vintage buttons into unique wearable art. The buttons are from sources in North America, Europe and Asia. We carefully collect materials from auctions, antique stores, estate sales, and individual collectors. Each button is a relic of history from the fashion and manufacturing world of the late 1800's onward.
Hattie's maximizes elements of design, texture and color to create exquisite contemporary pieces. The nature of the materials is such that each piece is one-of-a-kind. The buttons include Victorian metals and glass, mother-of-pearl, early plastics (bakelite, celluloid), horn, abalone and stone. We fashion each piece to wear as either a pin (brooch) or pendant.
